Puppies Training Socialization

During the puppies training, beside all the basics training such as potty training, crate training, leash training, obedience training, there is one factor which has an important influence for the rest of your puppy dog’s life. Yup, Puppies Training Socialization.

The puppies training socialization period, especially the first 16 weeks, is the most crucial time for determining your puppy dog's temperament, character and behavior in the future. During this important time in his development, your puppy dog is pretty easily influenced to external influences. If his experiences are positive with people, animals, etc., then he is likely to be open to them during his life. On the other hand, if his experience is not enjoyable, then he may be a bit apprehensive later.

Puppies training socialization stimulates the five senses of your puppy dog. It is the introduction, exposure and desensitization to the sights, sounds, smells, tastes and touch of everyday life. The puppies training socialization period conditions your puppy dog to many different situations he needs to be familiar with and comfortable around. It also prepares him to deal with the new experiences and challenges which inevitably arise throughout life in an appropriate manner.

Puppies training socialization is the crucial stage where you begin to build the close bond with your puppy dog that will last forever. Puppies training socialization is also a balancing act between the need for your puppy dog's education and experience against the necessity of protecting him from diseases.

It's important to initiate some obedience training right after your puppy dog arrives for his safety and to have a close bond. Sit, down, stay and fetch are some basic commands you can use. House breaking puppy training, crate training puppies, and chew toy training should also start following obedience training. These are all part of the puppies training socialization process.

Remember, always try to pick your puppy dog up, stroke his belly, touch his all over while gently talking to him. You can also invite other people to do the same. Just try to involve your new puppy dog in everything you can but always under close supervision. Get him familiar and comfortable with all of the daily routines and happenings of his new household in order to make him relax and comfortable. It's essential that during puppies training socialization, your puppy dog meets as many people as possible.

Encourage play, treats and touch between your visitors and your puppy dog. Anywhere you expect he may need to go, you better expose him to it. Just make sure it is a safe, non threatening and controlled environment. Anything that stimulates his mind and makes him problem solve is brilliant for his development. I don't recommend off leash dog parks as it's hard to know which dogs are vaccinated and of sound temperament.

Try to keep the puppies training socialization fun, light-hearted and pressure free. It's important not to overwhelm the puppy dog with too much information at once during the puppies training. Puppies training socialization is ought to be a happy and positive experience that will teach your puppy dog that his world is a safe and happy, not scary, place. Always remember that a bad experience during the puppies training socialization can scar your puppy dog for life.

If you miss out puppies training socialization, you cannot simply go back and fix the problems later. Puppy dogs who miss the critical puppies training socialization period often exhibit shyness, aggression, timidity, fear towards people, dogs and other animals. They are also often inept at relating with other dogs. If your puppy dog is deprived of early social stimulation, the result is his physical and emotional health can be irreversibly compromised.

The conclusion is, with puppies training socialization , you puppy dog will happily accept change, new people, challenges and will interact appropriately with other animals. Puppies training socialization educates your dog about appropriate social interaction and how to inhibit aggression towards people and other animals. Whoa..whoa..whoa.
